Tropical Noire

Tropical Noire is a collection of one-off large, interior, sculptural vessels. The pieces have been crafted out of a mix of tulipwood and maple wood.

Inspired by African water vessels, ceremonial cups, totemic statues and traditional vessels, these objects redolently echo African sculpture with a nod to colonial artifacts through its use of colour. The collection clearly displays Brewster’s signature bold style of both ethnic and architectural elements, with each vessel ranging from 42 cm to 86 cm in height.
