Ebony Revolution reconsiders our relationship with preciousness by challenging conventional ideas of value. While diamonds are prized for their rarity, cut and brilliance, Brewster asks us to look instead at the quiet luxury of wood—a material that takes centuries to grow and carries within it the record of time.
Crafted from ebony and lignum vitae, each piece reveals the natural grain of the wood through a series of precise cuts that expose its depth, colour and unique character. Rather than treating wood as a secondary material, Brewster elevates it, cutting and finishing each form with the same care traditionally reserved for precious stones.
The collection draws on African woodcraft alongside architectural modernism, combining sculptural forms with the warmth of natural materials. Rings, bracelets and necklaces are conceived as bold objects of adornment—pieces that celebrate presence, individuality and the enduring value of the materials from which they are made.
