Looking Back: Vogue and Black British Jewellery Design

In 2020 I was honoured to be featured by British Vogue in a piece celebrating Black British jewellery designers at a moment when conversations around representation within the industry were beginning to shift.

Looking back, the article reminds me how closely my jewellery practice has always been connected to the wider questions explored throughout my work—identity, material, cultural memory and value. Collections such as Ebony Revolution and ID Edition were never simply about adornment; they were investigations into what we choose to treasure, and why.
